ABOUT US

African Diaspora Union/AFRIDU is a Civil Society and Pan African Organization seeking reparative justice and fighting for the citizenship rights of the victims of Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and the welfare of the African Descendants willing to return back to their motherland Africa; and to promote the African culture and heritage, while encouraging the African Descendants towards bringing developmental projects to Africa.

AFRIDU represents African people and the descendants of African people to achieve redemption and restoration; and upon the establishment under the Diaspora/ Assembly/AU/Decl (I) 2012, and the UN resolution 68/237 of 23 December 2013, by which it proclaimed the International Decade for People of African Descent (A/RES/69/16). Through lobbying, Diplomacy, and tangible projects, AFRIDU seeks to actualize the dreams of return, investment, and cultural identification, forging a future where African descendants worldwide reclaim their heritage, contribute to Africa’s prosperity, and stand as equal partners in a vibrant, inclusive global African community. THE AFRICAN TWELVE APOSTLES

It is necessary to look at the mind of the Author in conceiving the “African Twelve Apostles” – The Liberators Book which is aimed at deconstructing the negative narratives that African Leaders are violent and rebels, hence creating a new narrative for Africa.

The African Twelve Apostles are the men that laid down their lives for the peace of Africa; Men who sacriced and committed their lives to the empowerment and dignity of the African man; Men who fought for the African freedom from enslavement; Men who gave liberty to the bonded in Africa; some of them assassinated and some died as a martyr of liberation of Africa; without them there will not be African independence, freedom and human rights!
